United States Marine Corps

This page is dedicated to my life as a United States Marine reservist (one weekend/ month, 2 weeks/year). I started boot camp on June 15th, 1998 - three days after my high school graduation.  I graduated with Platoon 1091, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, on September 11th, 1998.  The first four years were spent at November Battery, 5th Battalion / 14th Marines, an 155mm Howitzer battery in Pico Rivera, CA.  I had a lot of good times and made a lot of good friends there.  I then transferred to and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 4th Civil Affairs Group at Anacostia Naval Station in Washington, D.C.  After my deployment, I moved back to SoCal and joined 3rd ANGLICO in Long Beach.

I entered the Inactive Ready Reserve in 2004 and out of the military entirely in 2006, leaving as a Sergeant of Marines.
